I have emailed them and tried to contact them on their facebook page, but heard nothing. The mobile number does not work.

I needed a female hamster to breed my male hamster with, so I bought what they told me was a 'female' hamster... in fact they had no females brought to the store at all.. for my troubles I was promised a second hamster this time a female, I was never given the female hamster so I bought one else where to breed with. I bred my hamster and gave the pups to the pet store with one condition, that I was to be saved 1 MALE SYRIAN GOLDEN hamster, I waited weeks for someone to give me my own bred hamster back... 4/5 times they had come up with excuses over several weeks about how the other person had him and they weren't able to bring him ( one excuse used was that their Grandfather died ) then they told me they finally had him waiting for me in the shop, The hamster I was offered was not even mine, not Golden, not a short hair, nothing to do with my pups I had bred, it ''magically'' must have grew white long fluffy fur! The two cages I bought in to separate the males from females were in terrible condition (rust, broken bars) as they were kept outside/in damp conditions. Turns out they had sold ALL of my pups I had gave them ( I never got ANY money for giving them all my hamsters the first time ) If you ask me I would never anticipate doing any business with this ''pet store'' ever again, they can't even tell a females hamster apart from a male and still sell it to you, they lie, cheat you out of hard work and effort. I wouldn't even rate this place 1 star. They've made me so distraught and distressed and took advantage of a girl who just wanted to breed their hamster.

I have read the two reviews and would like to make the following comments. The telephone is ALWAYS answered. The shop has a landline not a mobile number !. If new pet owners follow the advice and information given the pets should stay happy and healthy. Change the diet suddenly and problems arise.

Guinea pigs are perhaps a little rat like, that's just what they look like.

This small independent shop specialises in customer service and the quality of the pets available. The telephone is ALWAYS answered when open and anyone can ring for advice.

Both guinea pigs died within a week. One started to struggle to breathe and eventually died, the second one started having fits.

I would not even give one star. I bought two guinea pigs, I wanted ones that were 6 months, but when I arrived they told me they only had 9 week babies. Which looked like rats and I really did not want them. I did take two, was offered no advice how to care for them and was given damp change over food. I tried contacting them on the day of purchase for some info, but they did not answer the phone or reply to text.
